How to Implement

Guidance

Plan for scale in commerce payments.

Developing a framework that uniquely identifies each business or merchant is a significant undertaking that will also bring about comprehensive benefits to payment Schemes and to end users. Where possible, the Scheme should do this collaboratively with the Government and potentially other existing payment Schemes that can also take advantage of the resulting efficiencies.

Why It Matters

Paying a business is a common need and should be ultra easy for end users to carry out and for businesses to be identified.
